Having recently lost
 my mother that old cliche of "You don't know what you have got until it is gone", is ringing true. Unfortunately I admit I fell into this category and just always thought Mum would be there and that Mothers Day was just another day for retailers and the like to make extra money. Even though my website is all about selling products I would like to invite all of my customers and visitors to Sugar Spice Nice Homewares to take a step back and not think about the material things but just take the time out to think about all the little things mums do for us. For me it was about phoning her and complaining about what my own daughters said etc.. and having her their to listen and never judge (and also have a laugh at that I was getting back what I had given her as a teenager!!.
So come this Mothers Day remember you don't necessarily have to give the BIG GIFTS, spending time a big hug and just talking would have to be the best gift to give and receive.
